A seasoned C-suite and Board executive with over 20 years of experience in financial services, manufacturing, philanthropy, strategy consulting and academia across
European, Asian, and US markets, she is a performance-focused business leader with a deep consideration for people and the planet. She combines expertise in finance, sustainability, AI, and tech transformation with a relentless pursuit
of performance optimization for people and organisations.
Before moving into the C-suite at the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX), at Physik Instrumente (PI) and Climate Arc (Rockefeller), she spent 15 years at UBS, heading up the bank’s Global Strategic Programs Division, delivering large-scale transformation programs. She continues to hold various board positions in philanthropy and academia.
Beate is a sought after key-note speaker on Performance and the Future of Work, Markets and Industries. She has published books and articles on ESG-Investing, Leadership and organizational development topics.
In her pursuit of clarity, Beate has earned multiple postgraduate degrees, including MAs from the University of Cambridge and the Sorbonne. Her PhD research focuses on Human and Organizational Performance levers.
She continuously draws on lessons from her successful long-distance triathlon career and motherhood to become a better performance enabler.
